“Food can potently unite people, regardless of their cultural background or beliefs. It is a universal language that transcends boundaries and connects people fundamentally. For me, cooking is not just about preparing food; it is about creating an experience that brings people together and fosters a sense of community. HISTORY

Cahyi was born into a typical Keeper of the Moon family, where she spent most of her childhood with her mother and siblings and had limited interaction with her father. Unlike her kin, she was a reserved and introverted child, often finding solace in reading books by herself. Despite her introverted nature, she shared a close bond with her siblings, who always included her in their games and adventures. They respected her need for solitude but also knew how to draw her out of her shell with their infectious energy and laughter. Cahyi, in turn, admired their outgoing personalities and often found herself inspired by their bravery and spontaneity.
However, as she entered her teenage years, she and her family discovered a natural talent for drawing upon aether, which led her mother to send her to the Conjurer's Guild for training. Despite being new to the field, she quickly proved herself a prodigy, mastering the techniques and becoming a gifted White Mage. Cahyi's introversion allowed her to deeply focus on her studies and develop a meticulous understanding of aether manipulation. Her quiet nature also made her a patient and compassionate healer, traits that earned her respect and admiration within the guild. Additionally, her solitary habits gave her the ability to reflect and innovate, often finding unique solutions to complex magical problems. Cahyi's aptitude for White Magic was evident from the moment she began her training. She grasped the fundamental principles with remarkable speed, effortlessly casting spells that usually took apprentices months to master. Her instructors were often left in awe as she intuitively understood the delicate balance of aether, allowing her to perform even the most intricate healing rituals with ease.
Her mother believed she would excel as a Thaumaturge, so she was transferred to Ul'dah to the Thuaumaturists Guild, where she once again impressed her trainers and became proficient. At the Thaumaturists Guild, Cahyi faced a different set of challenges, as the intense and often chaotic nature of black magic contrasted sharply with her previous training. Despite the initial difficulty, she quickly adapted, applying her meticulous approach to master the destructive spells with precision and control. Her innate ability to channel aether made her a formidable Black Mage, and her calm demeanor under pressure earned her recognition and respect among her peers.
After exploring her magical abilities for some time, she decided to take a break from the rigorous training and went to Limsa Lominsa to become a culinarian. Her magical skills proved invaluable in the kitchen, as she utilized her aether manipulation to control the elements with precision. This allowed her to maintain perfect temperatures for cooking, ensuring each dish was prepared to perfection. Additionally, her ability to sense and balance aether translated into an impeccable sense of taste and flavor harmony, making her culinary creations truly extraordinary. Her aptitude for learning was evident yet again as she quickly became a master chef. Her approach to magic was methodical and precise, always focusing on the delicate balance of aether to achieve the desired outcome. Similarly, in cooking, she employed the same meticulous attention to detail, ensuring each ingredient was perfectly measured and each technique flawlessly executed. Just as she mastered complex spells through careful practice, she perfected her recipes through relentless experimentation and refinement.
But her education was far from over. She was sent to Ishgard to study at the prestigious Saint Endalim's Scholasticate, where she learned everything the institution had to offer. At Saint Endalim's Scholasticate, Cahyi delved into a diverse curriculum that included advanced magical theory, aetherial manipulation, and the history of Eorzea's arcane arts. She also studied the intricate relationship between magic and faith, gaining insights into the theological aspects that underpin Ishgardian society. Additionally, her education encompassed ancient languages and rune crafting, further enhancing her understanding and mastery of the mystical forces that shaped their world. While there, she met a Keeper of the Moon male who helped her break out of her shell and become more sociable. Their friendship blossomed into a deep and meaningful connection as he encouraged her to explore the world beyond her studies. He introduced her to Ishgardian culture and traditions, taking her to festivals and social gatherings where she could practice her newfound social skills. Through his support and companionship, Cahyi found a balance between her rigorous academic pursuits and the joys of everyday life, enriching her experience at the Scholasticate.
However, she wasn't content with just these accomplishments. She received a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study at the Studium in Old Sharlayan, where she worked at a small café as a chef to earn some extra gil. Upon arriving in Old Sharlayan, Cahyi was immediately struck by the city's blend of ancient wisdom and vibrant innovation. The grandeur of the Studium, with its towering spires and vast libraries, filled her with awe and anticipation. She marveled at the bustling marketplaces and the serene coastal views, feeling a profound sense of excitement for the new chapter ahead. Her first semester at the Studium proved to be incredibly fruitful, as she excelled in her courses on advanced aetherial theory and ancient textual analysis. Cahyi's research on the rare and elusive aetherial anomalies garnered praise from her professors, earning her a spot in a prestigious study group. This early recognition boosted her confidence and set the stage for her to tackle even more ambitious projects in the future.
One day, she met a man dressed in scarlet, whose powerful aether caught her attention. She introduced herself, and after some conversation, he offered to train her in "red" magic. She learned quickly, using her training in black and white magics as a foundation, and soon became adept at wielding a rapier as her focus. Her quick adaptation to Red Mage techniques was due to her solid grasp of both black and white magics, which provided her with a deep understanding of the balance between offensive and defensive spells. This foundation allowed her to seamlessly integrate the dynamic and versatile nature of Red Magic into her repertoire. Additionally, her disciplined academic background made her an exceptionally fast learner, enabling her to master complex techniques with remarkable efficiency.
Back at the Studium, she continued to expand her knowledge, learning from the esteemed professors there. Cahyi's training in Red Magic not only diversified her magical abilities but also expanded her vision for her future. She began to see herself not just as a scholar but as a versatile combatant capable of both protecting and healing others while delivering powerful attacks. This newfound skill set opened up opportunities for her to take on more challenging research expeditions and potentially leadership roles in field operations, blending her academic pursuits with practical applications. However, during one practice session, something went wrong, and her aether erupted, enveloping her momentarily. She recovered quickly and thought nothing of it. But soon, her spells began to have unintended consequences, and she discovered strange aetheric lines forming intricate patterns along her body. Her hair grew longer and turned white, and her eyes began to glow a bright white. These changes in her aether could pose significant risks, such as losing control over her magical abilities, which might result in catastrophic accidents. The intricate patterns on her body could be a sign of a deeper, more dangerous transformation that could affect her health or even her very essence as a mage.
Additionally, the unpredictability of her spells might endanger those around her, making it crucial for her to seek help to understand and manage this new aetheric anomaly. However, her body weakened by the day, and she needed help to keep her aether under control. If she fails to find help, the aetheric anomaly could spiral out of control, potentially leading to irreversible damage to her physical and magical essence. Her spells might become increasingly unstable, posing a severe threat to herself and anyone nearby. In the worst case, she could face permanent loss of her magical abilities or even life-threatening consequences. One night at work, she couldn't stand her long hair anymore and cut it short with her chef's knife. Cutting her hair symbolized a desperate attempt to regain control over her life and aetheric condition. It was an act of defiance against the changes overtaking her, a physical manifestation of her determination to fight back and not succumb to her fears. This bold move marked the beginning of her resolve to seek out a solution and reclaim her identity as a mage.
As she was nearly in the throes of death, her life was spared by one of her lovers. This was a Keeper of the Moon woman whose knowledge, skills, and immense love helped channel the aetheric markings as a symbol of control and balance. This act saved her life and allowed her to continue on her journey. She was forever grateful to her benefactor, and their relationship strengthened over time.
Her extensive study in the Scholarly arts made it easy for her to heal those in need. She used a variety of approaches, including energy manipulation, ancient texts, and her aetherical connection to a faerie. This connection to a faerie granted her access to otherworldly knowledge and enhanced her intuition, allowing her to diagnose ailments with uncanny accuracy. Additionally, the faerie's presence amplified her energy manipulation, making her healing sessions more effective and swift. This unique partnership enabled her to achieve results that others in her field could only dream of. This secret skill was a gift she was grateful to possess, and she used it to make a difference in others' lives.
She also became an immensely skilled Summoner through her studies, able to draw forth primordial energy and summon the essence of the primal. By carefully managing her energy and dedicating time to both practices, she ensured neither skill was neglected. She often used her summoning abilities to bolster her healing sessions, calling forth protective spirits to create a safe environment for others. This balance allowed her to seamlessly integrate her dual talents, providing holistic care unmatched in both scope and effectiveness.
During her time in Gridania, Ul'dah, Ishgard, and Old Sharlyayn and the cultures connected to them, she sought out their and others' cultures and cuisines. Each culture provided her with unique insights and techniques that enriched her culinary approach. Her time in these regions was pivotal in expanding her understanding of diverse healing practices and culinary traditions. Gridania's deep connection to nature taught her the importance of herbal remedies, while Ul'dah's bustling marketplace exposed her to rare and exotic ingredients. Ishgard's hardy cuisine and Old Sharlyayn's scholarly approach to food preparation further refined her skills, allowing her to blend these varied influences into a unique and holistic approach to healing. Understanding the cultural significance of gathering together for meals and refining and expanding her abilities were two of her goals. In her practice, she incorporated Gridania's herbal ingredients into her recipes. She also used a variety of cooking methods, from boiling and roasting to smoking and curing. Her dishes were praised for their flavor and aroma. From Ul'dah, she integrated exotic spices and ingredients into her dietary plans, tailoring them to enhance the body's natural processes. Ishgard's hearty cuisine inspired her to develop nourishing recipes that provided comfort and strength to her patients. At the same time, Old Sharlyayn's precise methods ensured that each dish was crafted with meticulous care, maximizing its therapeutic benefits.
Her current occupation finds her working at the Jeweled Cypress, a restaurant in Mist that specializes in Far Eastern cuisine. Drawing from her time spent in Higan and Doma, she has become well-versed in the culinary traditions of those lands. Her dedication to her craft is evident in every dish she creates, which is infused with her passion and expertise. Far Eastern cuisine has significantly influenced her work by introducing her to new flavor profiles and cooking techniques. These elements have allowed her to create dishes that are not only delicious but also offer numerous health benefits. The balance of flavors and the emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients in Far Eastern cuisine have become central to her holistic culinary philosophy.

OOC:

  • IC (in-character) interactions should always stay separate from OOC (out-of-character) interactions. No exceptions. What happens in the game should stay in the game. Additionally, please do not use the excuse of "that's what my character would do" to justify being a troll. We create our own characters, after all.

  • Walk-ups are welcome if the RP tag is lit. However, if you're trying to get my attention in a crowded place, it would be helpful if you could send an OOC message to let me know. You can also contact me to set up RP when I'm not tagged.

  • I'm open to slice-of-life, romance, sensuality, eroticism, comedy, and drama RP themes. I do allow horror and dark themes as well, but please discuss them with me, OOC, first. I will NOT do RP combat situations, and if you force me, I will gladly god-mod with my character and the scene.

  • While I prefer adhering to the lore, it's not required. I have plenty of knowledge of most of it and don't mind bending it a bit. Thus, I believe in a certain degree of creative freedom as long as it sticks to the theme of the game's lore. If you have difficulty with anything not strict to the lore, we will likely not get along.

  • Please note that you must be 21 or older to RP with me, and so does your character. I will not RP with or about children. Do NOT approach me for random ERP! If that's what you're looking for, please look elsewhere and respect my boundaries.
